Abstract

The Escape Room: Boredom Crushing Lesson Planning

Think of a worksheet or a book page you always use; or any educational tool you are surrounded by as a teacher. And now, think of a room where you are supposed to solve puzzles, break codes and search for clues to escape. Which one sounds more engaging? Where would you like to be? In a room where you are just sitting and following the words in order OR where you solve puzzles, thinking differently and challenged by unpredictable moves?

In this workshop, we will turn ordinary activities into educational escape rooms. Get ready to think out of the box!
