Extended Reality in English Language Teaching

The “Extended Reality in English Language Teaching” workshop is a transformative experience designed to empower language educators with the skills to integrate Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Reality (AR), and Mixed Reality (MR) into their teaching practices. Participants will explore the potential of these technologies to create immersive and interactive learning environments, enhancing student engagement and language acquisition.

This concise and interactive workshop offers a practical introduction to various XR tools tailored for English Language Teaching (ELT). Educators will participate in hands-on activities, learning to design innovative lessons and assess student performance within XR-enhanced settings. Discussions will focus on the pedagogical benefits of XR, including its ability to facilitate authentic language use and cater to diverse learning needs.

By the end of the workshop, participants will be equipped with a toolkit of resources and a network of peers, ready to revolutionize their teaching practices through the integration of Extended Reality.
