Abstract
The Learner at the Centre: Personalizing EFL Education
What happens when we flip the script and design lessons around learners, not just
content? This session explores learner-centred education in ELT, from inquiry-based
activities and choice boards to voice-and-choice planning. Discover how to give students
ownership over their learning while maintaining academic structure and progress. You’ll
walk away with practical frameworks and examples that foster motivation, independence,
and deeper learning.
